A review on fingerprint orientation estimation

چکیده

Fingerprint orientation plays important roles in fingerprint enhancement, fingerprint classification, and fingerprint recognition. This paper critically reviews the primary advances on fingerprint orientation estimation. Advantages and limitations of existing methods have been addressed.
